So, the first-ever GWA column. And is it positive or negative? A bit of both, to be honest.

Let's look back on our first week. The opening Corruption was a great show, as was Meltdown on Friday. The tournament progressed well, and there were some fantastic matches on both shows, not least the two respective main events. And, of course, they were all on time. This trend should continue with Meltdown this week, which again has the potential to be a great show. So, all's good on the events front.

But then we come to roleplaying. Last week, only Mr Happyhead, TSW, Norberto Palenque, Blitz, Kriminal, and Deju Del Toro met the 2 roleplays requirement. That's almost exactly half the roster, which I don't think is good enough, especially when you consider that 3 of those characters are handled by either me or Steve. Yes, I only roleplayed once as Takashi, but I had a lot on my plate with events and my weekend trip to London.

Anyway, the point is, the roleplaying level is unacceptable. Hell, Lé Java hasn't roleplayed once (BEN!!!). No-one has a reason not to roleplay, as every wrestler is involved in either the Heavyweight or the Global tournaments, so there's always something to talk about. Admittedly, this week hasn't concentrated on the tournaments, but they'll be resuming next week, so I'll be looking for things to pick up then. We worked hard to get the GWA up and running, so let's do our best guys, and make it great.

Some of you may know that we're considering re-designing the site. Nath has done a great job with the current site, but there's a few problems in terms of automating it with CGI and our own boards, and with the join form not working. A new design may help solve those problems. I'll let you know if we do decide to bring in a new design.

I'm still looking to add more people to the roster, so if you know of anyone looking for a fed, point them in this direction. Also, a couple more matchwriters would be nice, so if you think you can help out with Corruption and Meltdown, give me a shout.

Well, that's about it. It's a short column this week, because there's not much to talk about. So, I'll bid you farewell, but leave you with this thought - ROLEPLAY!!!!!!
