I feel like I've done this before…

Yes guys, it's true. I've decided to close us down. I know we're not long open, hell, we've only just had our first PPV, but it just doesn't feel to me like this is gonna work. It's been a great effort to get us open after the closure of the IWF, and I thank everyone involved with that, but I'm done.

When I started running the IWF, it was fun, because it was different. I enjoyed thinking up angles, writing matches, putting events together. Now, all of that just seems like a chore, and I know I'm not the only one who feels that way. When Meltdown was cancelled on Friday, I saw it as a relief, not anything else, because it meant I didn't have to write the table match for the show. Corruption is supposed to be posted tonight, but I still haven't written that match, because to be honest, I just can't be bothered.

I felt much the same towards the latter end of the IWF days, but I thought the break we had, and a change of scenery, would help matters. It didn't, it's just the same old shit, just in a different package. Events are late or cancelled, RPing is slow - I've been here before. And writing matches, putting events together, and just generally maintaining and running the fed - like I said, it's a chore. And it's a chore I don't need, what with the final year of university coming up.

So, this is the end. I won't be opening another fed, at least not for the foreseeable future. But, I won't be leaving e-fedding. I still enjoy roleplaying, and I love TSW as a character. So I'm going to find a decent fed, join it, and go back to my days as a simple wrestler, not having a clue what was in store for my character. I'm looking forward to it.

I don't know what the rest of you are doing, but if some of you aren't quitting the game, we might cross paths again. And even if we don't, I consider a number of you friends, so hopefully we'll keep in touch.

I'm not going to do the whole thanks thing again, I did that when I closed the IWF, and I'd just be repeating myself. What I am going to do is thank all of you for trying to make this a success, and apologise to you for it not becoming what I'd hoped. And I'd most like to apologise to Ice, the only guy on the roster not formerly in the IWF, and to anyone I've scouted recently who may have just surfed onto the site with the intention of joining. Sorry guys.

So this is it, this is the end. I can't say I'm going to miss running a fed, because to be honest, it's a bit of a relief. But at the same time, I think I will eventually miss it all, so you never know, I might open another fed sometime in the future, or even re-open either here or the IWF. But for now, guys, this is me signing off, for the final time… Catch you all later.
