GWA CHAMPIONS [Click Title for Title History]

Heavyweight Champion : Mr Happyhead
Global Champion : Kriminal

Tuesday Night Corruption
27th August, 2002
Live from the First Union Center, Philadelphia, PA

The Corruption credits roll, and then, after a week's enforced break, the GWA is back on-air! We cut straight to the First Union Center in Philadelphia, where as the Corruption theme blares over the speakers and a loud pyro show is set off, the crowd go wild in anticipation of the night ahead.

Straight away, the theme from "The Omen" begins to blare out of the speakers, and the fans begin to cheer loudly, as GWA President Clint DeVasher heads out to ringside. At the commentary table, JF yells that this night is off to a huge start, and Flash says that Mr DeVasher isn't scheduled, but since he owns this company, he can do what he wants.

DeVasher walks up the ring steps, and climbs through the ropes into the ring, a smile on his face. He waves to the fans, then takes the microphone offered to him from ringside, as his music dies out. "GWA" chants circle the arena, and DeVasher stands patiently in the middle of the ring, waiting for them to die down. Once they do, he begins to speak.

DeVasher - "Well, it's good to finally be here in Philadelphia. As you all know, Meltdown was scheduled to take place here last Friday night, but as a result of the security staff you see around you going on strike, we were forced to cancel the event due to safety fears."

The fans boo loudly, and begin to chant "Security sucks", as DeVasher glares at the security guard nearest to him.

DeVasher - "I can only apologise for that action having to be taken, but as the old saying goes, better late than never. So, we're here in the First Union Center tonight, and what a show we've got lined up for you!"

Big pop from the fans.

DeVasher - "We'll kick things off with two of the matches that were originally slated for Meltdown, as Deju Del Toro takes on Norberto Palenque, and Psycho meets Kriminal! Then, you'll see a true power struggle, as the might of Alvekan takes on one of the most successful wrestlers in history, The Scottish Warrior!"

The fans cheer loudly at the mention of these three matches.

DeVasher - "But, the main focus of tonight is easily the last two matches. First of all, Gabriel Trenton, Lé Java, and "Tornado" Takashi Nakayama will meet in the first semi-final of the Global Title Tournament! And then, in our main event, there will be a triple-threat match between Blitz, Mr Happyhead, and Striker, in what will be the first Heavyweight Title semi-final!

The fans go wild again, as DeVasher smiles, then signals for quiet.

DeVasher - "Now, as way of apology for the delay in bringing the GWA here, I'm going to make those last two matches a little bit special. Firstly, the Global Title semi-final will be a No-DQ, Anywhere-Falls Elimination Match!"

The fans go absolutely ballistic, as JF screams that will be a true slobberknocker here tonight.

DeVasher - "And as if that wasn't enough, the Heavyweight Title semi-final will simply be a Hardcore match! Anything goes, and with the three men competing, I'm sure anything will! Enjoy the show!"

"The Omen" hits again, as the fans cheer loudly, and DeVasher heads backstage, smiling broadly, and waving to the cheering hordes. He disappears backstage, and then we cut back to ringside, to the announce table with JF and Flash. JF says that we just got a huge announcement from the owner of this company, and Flash says that what was already a huge night just got even bigger.

JF agrees with his co-commentator, and the two then discuss what lies ahead tonight. JF says that we're in for a hell of a show, then says that we're going to waste no time, and kick things off with what is sure to be a high-flying encounter between the Mexican Deju Del Toro, and the Belizean Norberto Palenque. Flash discusses Del Toro's problems with Blitz and Kriminal, then talks about the proposed triple-threat between the three this Sunday at Genesis, as we cut to the ring.

Deju Del Toro vs. Norberto Palenque

Del Toro slowly walks down to the ring as traditional Mexican music plays. The GWA star from Guadalajara slides into the ring and stands awaiting the arrival of Palenque as the Mexican music slowly fades out. The young Mexican stands in the ring waiting for his opponent.

Palenque soon makes his way to the ring with "As The Ruin Falls" blasting out in the background. The crowd erupt and start cheering for Palenque. Palenque slides into the ring and meets Del Toro in the middle of the ring. Both men stand arguing with each other, the referee steps between them and starts talking to them.

JF says that this looks like it'll be all-out warfare in this match, as both men seem pretty pissed off. Palenque starts off the "warfare" by spitting straight in Del Toro's face. The two start scrapping as the referee calls for the bell to start the match.

Palenque and Del Toro start throwing punches at each other, inaccurately, therefore both missing most of the punches. Palenque catches Del Toro with a strong punch to the face and burst's his nose. Blood appears on Palenque's hand and on Del Toro's face, which soon starts dripping on the mat.

Palenque kicks Del Toro to the ground and already looks to take an early look in the match. Palenque mounts on Del Toro and focuses on Del Toro's already bleeding face. Palenque starts punching it and blood begins to cover his hands. Palenque gets up and starts stomping on Del Toro as Del Toro tries to get up.

Del Toro grabs Palenque's foot as Palenque tries to stomp on him, and pulls Palenque to the ground. Del Toro gets up, still holding Palenque's foot, and locks in an ankle lock. Palenque gets out of it after a few seconds by grabbing the ropes. Del Toro lets go of Palenque, but only after lifting him up in the air and kicking him in the chest.

Palenque lands on his chest and rolls about the mat holding his chest. Del Toro wipes his bleeding nose by grabbing the referee and pulling him towards Del Toro, before wiping it on the referee's shirt. The referee doesn't look the least bit pleased by this, but JF seems to laugh at it.

Palenque gets to his feet and the two men begin trading punches and kicks. Palenque backs Del Toro into the corner and begins punching him in the gut. Palenque elbows Del Toro in the face and grabs him. Palenque whips Del Toro to the corner opposite, and runs after him. Palenque runs at Del Toro and goes to connect with a flying clothesline, but Del Toro leaps at the last minute, and knocks Palenque to the ground by spearing him in mid-air.

Del Toro mounts on Palenque now and begins to punch into him, before Palenque powering Del Toro off of him. Palenque tries to cover Del Toro...One...Two...Del Toro easily kicks out!

Del Toro gets up and starts stomping on Palenque. Del Toro picks Palenque up and powerbombs him off the mat. Del Toro climbs the turnbuckle and jumps at Palenque, executing a frog splash. Del Toro tries the cover...One...Two...Palenque lifts a shoulder! Del Toro was half a count away from winning that! Del Toro shouts in frustration.

Palenque grabs Del Toro from behind and does a full nelson to him. Both men get up after a few seconds and begin to trade punches before Palenque gets whipped off the ropes by Del Toro, who follows him and clotheslines Palenque over the top rope to the outside. Del Toro exits the ring through the ropes and stands on the apron - awaiting Palenque getting up.

As Palenque gets up, Del Toro flies from the apron and knocks Palenque to the ground with a flying clothesline. It takes a lot out of both men as they both lie on the ground, barely moving.

Palenque gets to his feet and picks up Del Toro before rolling him back into the ring and sliding in after him. Palenque picks up Del Toro and begins to punch into his head before climbing through the ropes to the apron. Palenque reaches for Del Toro and grabs onto him before lifting Del Toro up in a suplex position and lifts him up over the ropes.

Del Toro counters this move, however, as Palenque attempts to lift him over the ropes, by bouncing backwards off the second rope and executing a guillotine neck drop to Palenque. Palenque falls down and to the outside while Del Toro takes a breather inside the ring.

Del Toro climbs up onto the top rope of the turnbuckle to the right of where he was standing, and salutes the crowd whilst looking at the motionless figure of Palenque, lying on the mat on the outside of the ring. Del Toro can be heard shouting "Gwenos Dios Losero!", which JF informs us means "Good day, loser!"

Del Toro risks every limb in his body by flying off the top rope and performing an excellent backflip corkscrew, a.k.a Rolling Thundero, onto Palenque, hurting both men even more. JF screams in ecstasy upon seeing the move being executed and the crowd go wild as both men lie, motionless, at ringside.

The referee begins to count, as the fans cheer loudly for both men. JF says this has been a hell of a match to open Corruption tonight, and it would be a shame for it to end with a double count-out, as the referee reaches 6. But then, Del Toro begins to stir, and hauls himself up via the apron, as the referee reaches 9. Del Toro realises what is happening, and quickly rolls in and out of the ring, breaking the count, and forcing the referee to start again.

Flash says that was a smart move on the part of the Mexican, as Del Toro pulls Norberto up, and rolls him into the ring. Del Toro hops up onto the apron, then runs to the turnbuckle, and climbs up top. He looks down at the motionless Norberto, then leaps off with a second Rolling Thundero! This time, though, Norberto moves, avoiding the contact, and Del Toro connects with nothing but mat!

Del Toro grabs his back in pain, as Norberto pulls himself up using the ropes. He climbs to the top, measures Del Toro, then leaps off, and connects, with the Mucho Macho Elbow! JF yells that it's over, but Norberto isn't done, dragging Del Toro up. He whips him into the turnbuckle, then runs in, and delivers the Mayan Tornado! Flash says it's definitely over now, as Norberto covers, and gets the three-count!

Winner via Pinfall: Norberto Palenque

"As The Ruin Falls" hits again, as Norberto rolls out of the ring, then raises his arm in victory. JF says that Norberto just picked up a hard-fought win, as the Belizean begins to make his way backstage. As he walks up the ramp, he is suddenly passed by Blitz, who rolls into the ring, and drags the helpless Del Toro to his feet!

Flash yells that Blitz isn't allowed to interfere in Del Toro's matches by order of Mr DeVasher, but JF points out that the match is over, so Blitz can do whatever he wants. Blitz shouts something in Del Toro's face, then whips him to the ropes, and nails The Raid! JF screams that Del Toro is broken in half, but Flash points out that Blitz isn't done yet, as the German picks Del Toro back up.

JF says that enough is enough, but Blitz is having none of it, as he sets Del Toro up, then nails Heavy Artillery! Boos fill the arena, but are soon drowned out by the wail of air raid sirens, as Blitz gets in the unconscious Del Toro's face, and trash-talks him. Flash says that Blitz just sent a message to Del Toro ahead of Sunday's match, as Corruption cuts away to commercial.

[GWA Genesis - Live on pay-per-view, this Sunday!]

We return to find ourselves inside GWA Owner Clint DeVasher's executive office suite. He can be seen talking on the phone to someone.

DeVasher - "I know, I know. It was terrible..."

A voice can sort of be heard on the telephone from the other end of the call.

DeVasher - "I know, It was stupid. It's never gonna happen again. I've made sure of it."

The voice can be heard again, but it is inaudible to hear.

DeVasher - "It's gonna rock tonight, we have some great matches booked. We got Kriminal against Psycho, and two tournament semi-finals.

The voice interrupts DeVasher:

DeVasher - "Yeah...Kriminal has been pretty impressive, although he hasn't won yet, but I reckon it's just a matter of time..."

DeVasher is interrupted again, not by the person on the other end of the call, by a knock on the door. DeVasher looks up.

DeVasher - "I'll have to call you back later, I've got visitors."
DeVasher laughs slightly and then faces the door.

DeVasher - "Come in!"

In walks Kriminal.

DeVasher - "Hey man, come in, sit down!"

Kriminal sits down.

DeVasher - "So...What's bothering you?"

Kriminal - "Nothin much, dawg."

DeVasher - "O...kay...So what can I do you for then?"

DeVasher laughs at his crappy joke.

Kriminal - "Nothing really, just wanted to come see you about something."

DeVasher swivels round in his chair, doing a complete 360.

DeVasher - "What's up?"

Kriminal - "I was just wanting to say thanks for this great opportunity you've handed me."

DeVasher's face now dons a big smile.

DeVasher - "No problem, son."

Kriminal - "And, I know I've not won a match yet, but I'm promising that I'll do well. I owe it to you."

DeVasher - "That's good to hear..."

Kriminal - "What?"

DeVasher - "Determination."

Kriminal - "Oh right, yeah."

DeVasher - "I've been pretty impressed with your professionalism and your "don't take crap off nobody"-kind of attitude."

Kriminal - "I'm doing everything I can..."

DeVasher - "That's what I like about you, Jackson..."

Kriminal - "...What?"

DeVasher - "You show true spirit and determination. I've watched your matches and you've put up one hell of a fight!"

Kriminal - "Thanks..."

DeVasher - "So...You pumped up for your match tonight???"

Kriminal - "Damn straight, boss! You better believe it!"

DeVasher - "That's the spirit!"

DeVasher pats Kriminal on the back.

DeVasher - "I see big things in the future for you, Jackson."

Kriminal - "Do you??? Cool."

DeVasher - "Yes."

Kriminal's face now shows a big grin.

DeVasher - "So...You reckon you'll do well tonight???"

Kriminal - "Yeah, I think so."

DeVasher - "You've got a tough opponent..."

Kriminal - "Yeah..."

DeVasher - "...Psycho is one hell of a wrestler."

Kriminal - "He is..."

DeVasher - "...But...So are you"

Kriminal - "Thanks man."

DeVasher - "You certainly don't lack determination and spirit, you'll go far in the GWA, I can guarantee it!"

Kriminal listens to what Clint DeVasher is saying with open eyes and a big grin on his face.

DeVasher - "I can see you competing at the top level in absolutely no time whatsoever.

Kriminal - "Seriously?"

DeVasher - "Yeah...Listen, I have a phone call to make, about what happened with those damn security guards last week. So I'll speak to you soon."

Kriminal - "Yeah...And DeVasher..."

DeVasher looks up from his desk.

DeVasher - "Yeah?"

Kriminal - "Thanks man, I owe you one."

DeVasher - "No problem, Jackson."

Kriminal turns to walk away.

DeVasher - "And one more thing..."

Kriminal stops and turns around.

Kriminal - "Yeah?"

DeVasher - "Good luck tonight, do yourself justice and kick Psycho's ass, make it damn good for everyone to watch!"

Kriminal smiles upon hearing this.

Kriminal - "Will do!"

DeVasher - "Good, speak to you soon."

Kriminal - "Yeah, later man."

Kriminal opens the door and leaves. DeVasher picks up his phone and dials, as we zoom out a little, to show Psycho watching the scene on a monitor somewhere backstage!

Psycho - "Son of a bitch. Fucking suck-up. The boss wants you to win? No chance, I'm about to teach you a lesson you won't ever forget!"

Psycho turns and heads down the corridor towards ringside, as we cut back to the commentary booth. JF and Flash comment on what they just saw backstage, and JF says that Psycho wasn't happy about what went on between DeVasher and Kriminal. Flash says that Psycho seems to think that DeVasher has a favourite in Kriminal, and wants to prove him wrong, as we cut to ringside.

Psycho vs. Kriminal

The fans boo as "My Plague" begins to play. The GWA's resident nutter, Psycho, walks out to the stage, and taunts the fans. He gives them the finger as he walks down the ramp, and rolls into the ring, before climbing the turnbuckle and telling all the fans what they can do with themselves. What a charming guy.

They suddenly cheer when "Fight Music" kicks in. Kriminal walks out to the ramp with a bottle of water. He takes a swig, before suddenly bolting down the ramp. Psycho braces himself, but Kriminal suddenly stops. He takes another swig of water from the bottle, and the fans cheer. He stands there and gargles his water, before rolling into the ring. The bell sounds.

Psycho swings at Kriminal, but Kriminal ducks, spins Psycho around, and spits his water in Psycho's face, before unleashing a few right hands. He knocks Psycho back, before clotheslining him over the top rope. The fans cheer as Kriminal climbs to the outside, and clubs Psycho to the back a few times. He lifts Psycho to his feet and smack his head into the steel steps. The fans applaud as Kriminal limbers up.

He pulls Kriminal up and whips him to the post, but Psycho reverses, and sends Kriminal crashing into the steel post. The fans boo as Psycho laughs. He lifts Kriminal up and rolls him into the ring, as the referee reaches 8. Psycho climbs in too, and starts to stomp on Kriminal, before lifting him to his feet, and sending him to the ropes before planting a spinebuster. The fans boo.

Psycho attempts to cover Kriminal, but he kicks out, and the fans cheer. Psycho lifts Kriminal to a vertical base, and fires right hands, but Kriminal blocks the third and starts retaliating, before dropping Psycho with a DDT. The fans cheer as both men lay on the mat, trying to catch their breath. The fans cheer for Kriminal, and he is the first to get up.

He gets to his feet, and rests on the turnbuckle to catch his breath, as Psycho gets to his feet. Psycho suddenly boots Kriminal in the gut, and sets up for a piledriver, but Kriminal grabs his legs and sweeps them out from under him, before locking in a figure four leg lock! The fans cheer as Kriminal drops to the ground. Kriminal then wrenches on Psycho's legs, as Flash points out that Kriminal calls that "Escape from Alcatraz".

Psycho then yells in pain, but also laughs. Floss asks what kind of nutter would enjoy being in a figure four, and Flash asks if Floss really needed to ask. Psycho's nerves then send a positive signal to his brain, and he starts yelling in pain again, however, as luck would have it, he is only inches from the ropes, so he lunges and grabs them, forcing Kriminal to relinquish the hold.

The fans boo as Kriminal lets go, grudgingly. He gets to his feet and looks out to the fans, but suddenly, Psycho gets to his feet and clubs Kriminal to the back of his head, knocking him down. The fans boo as Psycho stands back up and laughs, before hitting a legdrop, to the back of Kriminal's head. He goes for the cover, but Kriminal kicks out! The fans cheer as Kriminal lay on the mat, slowly getting to his feet, as Psycho stands at the corner.

Kriminal gets to his feet, and Psycho runs at him with a Psycho sword, but Kriminal suddenly boots him in the head! Psycho crashes to the mat, holding his head, as Kriminal quickly covers. The fans scream as the referee counts, One...Two...No! Psycho kicked out! Kriminal holds his head in despair as he lifts Psycho to his feet.

He attempts a right hand, but Psycho counters it with a backslide. Kriminal rolls through and grabs Psycho's legs, before catapulting him towards the post. Psycho grabs the post and lands safely, before turning around and running at Kriminal, Psycho ducks the clothesline, then nails Kriminal with an arm drag, before nailing the Psycho Sword as he gets up! The fans boo, as Psycho then beckons for Kriminal to get back to his feet.

JF says that Psycho is looking for either Pure Insanity or the Psycho Plunge here, and Flash says that if the Insane One hits either of those manoeuvres, it's over. JF agrees, as Kriminal gets to his feet, and staggers around a bit. Psycho grabs him, and lifts him into the Razor's Edge position, looking for True Insanity, but Kriminal manages to escape! Psycho looks surprised, and turns around, straight into the Death Penalty! JF screams that it's over, and the fans cheer, as Kriminal covers Psycho, and gets the pinfall victory!

Winner via Pinfall: Kriminal

"Fight Music" hits, as JF yells that Kriminal just picked up his first-ever GWA victory! The referee raises Kriminal's hand, and the young man from St. Louis begins to celebrate, as Psycho rolls out of the ring. Suddenly, though, Blitz appears through the crowd, steel chair in hand!

JF yells that Blitz did a number on Deju Del Toro earlier tonight, and now he's coming for his other enemy, Kriminal, as Blitz slides into the ring behind Kriminal. Blitz raises the chair to hit Kriminal, but Kriminal turns around, and nails Blitz with a clothesline! Blitz falls to the mat, dropping the chair, only for Kriminal to pull him straight back up, and nail The Life Sentence onto the chair!

Blitz lies out cold, as the fans cheer loudly, and "Fight Music" hits again. Kriminal raises his arms in victory in the middle of the ring, as Flash wonders if this is what we'll see this Sunday at Genesis. JF says it's entirely possible, as Kriminal just proved he's a talented wrestler here tonight, as Corruption cuts to another break.

[Next edition of GWA Gossip up tomorrow night!]

Corruption returns, and JF and Flash discuss the night so far. JF says we've seen two quality match-ups, but the best is yet to come, in the shape of the first semi-finals of the two title tournaments. Flash says those will both be incredible matches, but adds that first, we've got what is sure to be a hard-hitting contest between Alvekan and The Scottish Warrior.

Alvekan vs. The Scottish Warrior

"Cadence To Arms" echoes around The First Union Center and the crowd boos loudly at the entrance of the big Scot, TSW. JF: "TSW is making his entrance to the delight of… nobody!" TSW looks at the crowd with disgust as he walks down the ramp and enters the ring. Flash: "Even though nobody likes him, he is good." JF: "He's proven it many times, he is after all a former 5-time IWF champion."

"Denial" by Sevendust hits and the crowd erupts into cheers for the 6ft 7, 267lbs, Hell's Kitchen native. Alvekan steps and the crowd cheer even louder for him. Flash: "Alvekan has also been quite successful. He progressed to the second round of the inaugural tournament defeating Kriminal impressively."

Alvekan climbs into the ring and his music stops. The bell rings signifying the beginning of the match. The two men lock up, at first none of the two get the advantage, then TSW uses his weight advantage and backs Alvekan into the corner. TSW punches Alvekan in the mid section. He whips Alvekan but doesn't let go; Alvekan springs back into a clothesline from TSW.

TSW picks Alvekan up and pushes him into the corner. TSW starts laying heavy body shots into the midsection of Alvekan. Flash: "TSW looking strong here." JF: "Alvekan is struggling to get a hold of the match." TSW pulls Alvekan out of the turnbuckle using his hair and with a right knocks Alvekan out of the ring to the outside. TSW follows him to the outside and the ref starts the count.

TSW whips Alvekan hard into the guard barrier. Flash: "There seems to be some intensity flowing from TSW." Alvekan crumples over the guard barriers and TSW climbs onto the apron. JF: "What's he doing?" TSW lifts an elbow up and jumps driving his elbow into the upper back of Alvekan. Alvekan goes upright with pain all over his face. Flash: "That was 284lbs of Scotland baring down on the back of Alvekan. Ouch!"

The ref reaches eight but TSW rolls in and out of the ring to restart the count. TSW lifts Alvekan onto his shoulder and runs into the nearby steel ring post, a nasty thud can be heard from the impact. Flash: "Great strength shown by TSW." TSW then turns Alvekan upside down and executes a perfect sit down piledriver on the outside. JF "My God that's gonna hurt!"

TSW picks Alvekan up and rolls him into the ring rolling in afterwards. TSW pulls Alvekan near to a turnbuckle signalling… Flash: "The Scottish Splash! No doubt! This is gonna be over soon!" TSW climbs up top and signals for, sure enough, the Scottish Splash. The crowd boos as TSW straightens up and jumps. But somehow, Alvekan moves out of the way in the last seconds before impact. Flash: "Holy hell! Alvekan just narrowly avoided the Scottish Splash!"

TSW writhes in pain on the mat as Alvekan rolls onto his stomach and takes a look at what happened to TSW. He slowly gets to his knees with the crowd cheering him on, TSW doesn't move. He gets to his knees with TSW still not moving. Alvekan then uses the ropes to get to his feet, TSW doesn't move and still lies motionless on the mat. Flash: "Alvekan should go for the pin." Alvekan groggily walks over to TSW and stomps him weakly. Alvekan then pulls TSW up with great difficulty and whips him into the turnbuckle. TSW trips and his head smashes into the top turnbuckle.

Alvekan starts laying into him with weak shots to the head and body. He then lifts TSW onto the top turnbuckle. JF: "There are a lot of things that Alvekan might do, but all of them will hurt both of these men. Alvekan then climbs to the top turnbuckle and lifts TSW so he is standing on the top turnbuckle too. The crowd cheer in anticipation.

Alvekan hits TSW in the head a few times, hooks TSW up and performs a huge Superplex off the top rope. JF: "Oh my God! That was amazing and damaging to both men, surely." Flash: "I didn't even think Alvekan would be able to get enough elevation." JF: "I didn't even think he would be able to lift TSW, that was an incredible show of strength!"

Both men lie motionless in the centre of the ring. JF: "Either Alvekan or TSW could win this if they could just get an arm of over the other person." The referee begins his 10-count, but stops, as Alvekan slowly drapes an arm over TSW. The referee counts, one… two… THR… NO!!! TSW somehow gets the shoulder up!

Flash and JF can't believe it, as both men struggle back to their feet, and begin trading weak right hands. Eventually, Alvekan manages to get the upper hand, and he knees TSW in the gut, before sending him to the ropes. The big Scot comes back, and as he does Alvekan grabs him, and lifts him into the air for the Hell March.

TSW manages to counter though, and drops down behind Alvekan. Alvekan turns around, only to be booted in the gut by TSW, who then picks Alvekan up, and nails the Braveheart Bomb! The fans boo loudly, and Flash shouts that it's over, as TSW covers, and the referee makes the 3-count!

Winner via Pinfall: The Scottish Warrior

"Cadence To Arms" hits, and the fans boo, as TSW has his arm raised, and is announced as the winner. JF says that TSW picked up another big win here tonight, and is many people's favourite to be the first Heavyweight champion. Flash says that competition is tough, but is suddenly cut off, as the arena is plunged into darkness. JF asks what the hell is going on, when the GlobalVision comes to life, and the message "WE ARE COMING" flashes up on the screen.

The message remains there for about 30 seconds, before disappearing. The lights come back on in the arena, as everyone looks confused as to what just happened. Flash asks what that was all about, and JF says he has no idea, and wonders who "we" are, just as we cut backstage to Clint DeVasher's office, where he is on the phone.

DeVasher - "What the hell was that? Who the hell are 'we'?"

DeVasher listens, and anger crosses his face.

DeVasher - "I don't have a clue! Yeah, there's a couple of people coming in, but I didn't authorise any vignettes, and I definitely didn't authorise interruptions to my shows! I want to know who these people are, and I want to know just how they managed to get that message onto the GlobalVision!"

DeVasher slams the phone down, and paces his office, muttering to himself.

DeVasher - "'We are coming'? Who the hell are 'we'? Well, they'll find out soon enough, whoever they are, that it does not pay to mess with me!"

We cut back to ringside, and JF says that Mr DeVasher is apparently as much in the dark as everyone else over who these mysterious people are. JF and Flash speculate over what could be going on, before giving up, with JF saying he is sure all will be revealed soon enough. They then say that it's time for the first semi-final of the Global Title tournament, and JF says this one is going to be a slobberknocker.

Footage plays of Mr DeVasher's announcement earlier in the show, and JF says that anything goes in this one, so it's going to be hellacious. Flash says he's talked to all three guys over the weekend, and each one of them is determined to be the first Global Champion, so this one is going to be huge.

Gabriel Trenton vs. Lé Java vs. "Tornado" Takashi Nakayama (No-DQ, Anywhere-Falls, Elimination Match) (Global Title Tournament Semi-Final)

"Pop" by N*Sync sounds over the speakers as Gabriel Trenton comes out to a chorus of cheers, as JF reminds us of Gabriel's success record in the IWF. As he is walking to the ring, Lé Java's music hits, and he is jumped from behind by Lé Java and they start brawling in the entrance way, as Flash yells that the Frenchman can't wait to get this thing started!

Lé Java whips Gabriel into the ring post, and tries to run in at him, but ends up running into the ring post as Gabriel moves. Gabriel slams Lé Java's head on the apron a few times as they both get in the ring. They trade punches before Gabriel throws him off the rope and tries for a clothesline, however Lé Java ducks and goes for a superkick. Gabriel grabs his leg, spins him around, runs at him but Lé Java lies down.

Gabriel bounces off the ropes, Lé Java leap-frogs him, Gabriel rebounds off the opposite set of ropes as Lé Java bounces off the opposite ropes to Gabriel. Both men take each other down with a double clothesline, but are quickly back to their feet. While this exchange happened, Takashi has been making his way down to the ring. Both men see this, and Lé Java pulls the ropes down and springboards over them, and Takashi catches him.

Gabriel then springs off the ropes, and jumps with a moonsault, and Takashi throws Lé Java in the air and moves away, and Gabriel takes Lé Java down with somewhat of a moonsault as he is in mid-air, and both men take a nasty tumble on the concrete! Takashi gets in the ring, rebounds off the ropes, and then jumps over the opposite set with a suicide dive, taking the other 2 men out into the guardrail!

JF screams that this match is off to an incredible start, as Takashi gets back in the ring again, waits a bit, and flips over the ropes with a cannonball, which both men catch! They give Takashi a nasty double powerbomb on the floor, and then start to brawl. Lé Java whips Gabriel into the ring steps, and then grabs a chair, sits it up by a part of the guardrail near the floor just in front of the ring.

When Gabriel gets up, Lé Java runs, jumps off the chair onto the guardrail, and runs along it without tripping, and wipes out Gabriel with a flying clothesline ala Jeff Hardy. Chants of "GWA, GWA" begin, as Lé Java takes the top half of the steel stairs off, and we see Takashi on the other side of the ring carrying the whole lot of the other steel steps around to the opposite side of the ring.

Gabriel picks up a ladder from the entrance way and him and Lé Java are facing each other, Gabriel with the ladder, Lé Java with half the stairs. They are about to slug it out with the weapons, but Takashi has put his steps down on the ground behind Lé Java. He yells at Lé Java who turns around, and Takashi comes off the stairs with a dropkick, smashing the step that Lé Java was holding, right back into his face!!

Takashi gets back to his feet and poses to the fans to a good pop, only to turn around with Gabriel doing the 360 degree rotation with the ladder around his head (head between rungs), running forward and smashing Takashi in the side of the head! Gabriel waits for Lé Java to get up, and he runs forward and knocks him square in the head with the ladder, but Takashi also gets a foot out and trips him up after he has knocked down Lé Java.

Flash says that this match is brutal, and JF says it shows how much these three guys want to be Global Champion. Gabriel falls forward and the end of the ladder hits the ring post, and as Gabriel stumbles backwards and falls down, the ladder rungs jam Gabriel's head, as the ladder is still around his head. All 3 men are now busted open as Takashi picks up a chair. He climbs to the top turnbuckle from the outside and when Gabriel trying to push the ladder off (still with the ladder around his head) gets up, Takashi jumps off the top turnbuckle with a sickening chair shot to the top of the head!

Gabriel stumbles around to a boot to the mid-section from Lé Java which makes the ladder fall off. Lé Java then tries for DDT, but Gabriel lifts Lé Java up in the air in a 3-D position, and Lé Java gets a chair shot to the head from Takashi! Gabriel then falls forward and gives Lé Java a modified spinebuster/powerbomb on the ladder that was on the concrete floor!

Takashi gives Gabriel a chair shot to the back, who then falls straight onto Lé Java's groin. With his two opponents down, Takashi drags 2 tables out from under the ring, to a massive pop from the fans. Gabriel stands up, and he and Takashi trade right hands, before Gabriel, now also upright, kicks Takashi low. He then rams him backwards, and Takashi goes back first into the apron.

Gabriel picks up a chair and hammers away with no mercy all over Takashi's body. Lé Java makes his way to his feet and Gabriel tells him something. They each pick up a table and when Takashi makes it to his feet, they give him what can only be described as a con-table-to, which breaks a small piece in the middle of the table, and Takashi is down and out!

"Holy shit" chants begin, and Flash says he couldn't have put it better himself. Lé Java and Gabriel look at each other, and smash the tables over each other's heads, but they don't break. Lé Java then nails Gabriel in the mid-section with the table, and knocks the bent over Gabriel with a knee lift to the head. Lé Java sets one table up on the outside, and leans the other table against the apron.

As Gabriel stumbles back to his feet, Lé Java spears him through the propped up table! Lé Java rolls Gabriel back into the ring, and the action is now back in the ring again. JF says this is a hell of a match, and Flash says he can't believe what these three men are putting their bodies through here tonight. Lé Java brings the ladder into the ring as well, then whips Gabriel off the ropes and gives him a side-buster. He picks him up, but gets uppercuts to the jaw, then whips Lé Java off the ropes and gives him a powerslam.

Gabriel plants Lé Java with a piledriver, and then goes up top. He comes off with a picture perfect elbow drop to the heart, then makes the cover. JF shouts that Lé Java could be about to be eliminated in the first pinfall attempt of the match… One… Two… Thr… Kick-out! Flash says that he's amazed at the resiliency on display here, and JF says these guys simply won't quit, so determined are they to progress to the final.

Gabriel pulls the Frenchman to his feet, then whips Lé Java to the corner, runs in and gets a boot to the face for his trouble. Lé Java then puts him out with a superkick. Lé Java drags Gabriel out of the table wreckage, by the neck to his feet, and gives him a full-nelson facebuster. Instead of going for the pin, he sets the ladder up in the corner. He climbs the rungs, poses, and tries for a leg-drop, but Gabriel moves!

Gabriel drags Lé Java up and plants him with a brainbuster, but before he can pin, he sees Takashi on the apron, so he decks him off then tries for the pin…One… Two… Thr… and Lé Java kicks out. JF comments that Lé Java had more time to recover after Gabriel hit Takashi, and Flash agrees, saying those extra few seconds may have saved the Frenchman there.

Gabriel gets up and turns around to be caught with a cross body from the top of the ladder by Takashi! The pin is only a 2-count. Takashi pulls Gabriel up, whips him off the ropes and knocks him down with a clothesline. Lé Java is getting back up and Takashi drops a fist to the back of his head. Gabriel gets back up, and he and Takashi then whip Lé Java off the ropes and elevate him over the ropes with a high double back-drop through the table that was set up earlier!

Gabriel and Takashi brawl in the ring, and Takashi whips Gabriel into the corner. He sits Gabriel on the second rope and gives him the 10-punch as the crowd chants along. Takashi then stands on the top turnbuckle and turns Gabriel around so he is sitting on 2nd buckle and facing him. He pulls Gabriel to his feet and tries for a super-front-suplex.

However, Lé Java gets back in the ring and stands underneath Gabriel. Gabriel stands on Lé Java's shoulders, who then pulls Takashi off the top turnbuckle with an amazing suplex while on Lé Java's shoulders. Gabriel is still on his shoulders, so Lé Java runs to throw him over the ropes, but Gabriel reverses it with a hurricanrana and both men go crashing to the floor.

Lé Java is up first and he gets in the ring, runs off the ropes, and baseball slides the chair that Gabriel had picked up, right into his face! Lé Java gets back in the ring again, this time after he bounces off the ropes, he tries for a suicide dive through the top and middle rope.

However, as he has just got through the ropes, Gabriel gives him a sickening Steel Chair shot to the head, which gives off a loud echo around the building. JF says that Lé Java must be out of it now, as Gabriel gets back into the ring, and Takashi tries to whip him off the ropes. The whip is reversed though, and Gabriel throws Takashi over the top rope when he rebounds back, and Takashi gets caught in a hangman in the top and middle rope which is choking him out.

The referee unties him after about 5 seconds, and Takashi drops to the concrete floor on the outside like a sack of wet cement, breathing heavily as a result of the choke. Gabriel climbs to the top and after a moment when Takashi gets up, he comes off the top trying for some high-flying move, but Takashi moves, and Gabriel crashes, landing on the concrete floor and part of the guardrail.

The "holy shit" chants start up, as Takashi stomps away on him. Takashi then throws him over the guardrail and the crowd love it as they brawl their way through all the GWA fans for a couple of minutes. Lé Java is still down at ringside. They brawl just past the fans, where Gabriel rakes Takashi eyes, picks him up and drops him front first on the concrete floor. He then picks him up and rams Takashi's head against a wall.

Gabriel picks up a sheet of tin, and puts it over Takashi who is leaning against the wall. Gabriel backs up a bit, then runs forward and jumps into the tin and Takashi. That hurt Gabriel also, and as he pulls the tin away, Takashi knocks him down with a stiff right. Takashi and Gabriel brawl over to the concession area, where Takashi proceeds to set Gabriel up on a table, and then climbs on to the concession stand.

However, Lé Java comes out of nowhere and breaks a pot over the back of his head, and Takashi goes flying off the stand, and Gabriel moves in the nick of time, as Takashi goes crashing through the table!!! The crowd is loving this match, as Lé Java and Gabriel brawl their way down the entrance area, back to the ring. Gabriel gains the advantage as he works over Lé Java with a variety of moves including a sit-out powerbomb and a tornado DDT. He tries a pin but can't get the three. Gabriel tries numerous pins, but the count gets smaller each newer pin.

In a desperate bid to eliminate Lé Java, Gabriel pins with his feet on the ropes for leverage, but still can't get three. He drags Lé Java to his feet, but Lé Java drills Gabriel with a DDT and both men are down. After 10-15 seconds, Lé Java gets to his feet and turns right into a double-karate chop, known as Samurai, from Takashi, who has returned to ringside. Lé Java doesn't fall but stumbles around into The Green Mile from Gabriel! Gabriel makes the cover, and Takashi looks on as he gets the three, and Lé Java is eliminated!

Eliminated: Lé Java

Gabriel gets up and starts fighting with Takashi, as Lé Java rolls out of the ring. Both men are exchanging punches and chops. Takashi tries to kick Gabriel in the gut, but Gabriel grabs his foot. However, Takashi is able to nail him with an insaghuri! Takashi goes for a Northern Lights Suplex, but somehow Gabriel is able to counter it into a Tornado DDT!

But instead of going for the cover he takes the time to taunt the fans, who respond with a good pop. JF says that Gabriel's cockiness could be his undoing, as Gabriel grabs Takashi and goes for a brainbuster, but sure enough, he had wasted too much time. Takashi gets free of the move in mid-air, and somehow manages to twist, and take Gabriel down with a head scissors!

Takashi pulls Gabriel up, and sends him to the ropes. The Saitama native is able to catch Gabriel as he comes off the ropes, and he plants him with the Honourable Death! Flash yells that this one is over, as Takashi quickly covers Gabriel for the 3-count!

Winner via Pinfall: "Tornado" Takashi Nakayama

"Shinobi vs. Dragon Ninja" hits, as the fans go wild in appreciation of the incredible match-up they just witnessed. JF yells that Takashi is into the Global Title Final at Genesis, and Flash says that was one hell of a match-up, with all three men involved giving it their all. JF agrees, and says that any one of them would have deserved to progress, but it was Takashi who did, and could now be the first Global Champion.

Flash says that would be quite an achievement for the young man from Japan, as Takashi rolls out of the ring. Inamoto-san appears at ringside, and is literally jumping for joy as he helps Takashi backstage. JF says that Takashi impressed him tonight, and stands a good chance of winning on Sunday. Flash agrees, then says that Takashi will find out who he meets after Meltdown, where the other semi-final will be decided.

In the ring, Gabriel finally comes to, and he looks after Takashi and Inamoto-san, disappointment on his face. JF says that Gabriel gave it his all, but it wasn't quite enough tonight. Flash says there will be another opportunity for Gabriel, he has no doubt, and JF agrees, as Corruption cuts to the final commercial of the evening.

[GWA Meltdown - Live, Friday night, only on Fox!]

The camera finds itself at ringside as Jim Floss and Flash Gunn sit beside each other in the customary shot of the announce crew, as they welcome us back to the ringside. They begin to hype this, the first semifinal in the Heavyweight Championship tournament. Jim Floss says that the tournament has been astounding so far, and that we'll have to see where we go from here. The camera answers, as it takes us backstage.

Striker exits from his lockerroom, and he quickly turns and walks right into the waiting Blitz. The Berlin Wall stands tall, and he smiles in the direction of his opponent for this evening. Jim Floss suspects trouble, as neither man says anything. They just eye each other up and down, readying themselves for the next round of combat. Striker nods, and then begins to attempt to walk past Blitz, but the German native holds him still, prohibiting him from passing.

Blitz - "So I hear your girly is a whore?"

Striker - "Hey, Buddy. Used to be. She used to be. Not anymore."

Blitz - "Ha! You mean not in ze last minute we have been in zis hall?"

Striker tries to shake off the insults directed towards his woman, Candi, but gives up on it. He begins sending right hands into the chest of Blitz forcing the big man backwards. Jim Floss says that neither man appears willing to wait, and they're starting this match backstage! Striker grabs Blitz by the back of his neck and whips him into the concrete wall, before kneeing him in the upper chest.

Mr Happyhead vs. Blitz vs. Striker (Hardcore Match) (Heavyweight Title Tournament Semi-Final)

The camera cuts back to ringside, as the arena lights fade out and Rufio's instrumental "The Wrath" blasts over the booing crowd and yellow strobelights. Mr. Happyhead walks out in front of the sold-out Philadelphia crowd in his usual all-yellow outfit, but dressed up in a genuine endangered panda bear fur coat. The crowd continues voicing their displeasure as their nemesis climbs into the ring and tosses his coat to the ring judge.

The lights return to the arena, as Happyhead begins hopping up and down to warm up for the next match. Marilyn Manson's "Seizure of Power" hits the loudspeakers, and Mr. Happyhead readies himself for the entrance of his first opponent, Striker. The music continues playing, as nobody steps out from backstage. Happyhead stands back up, wondering where Striker has gone to.

The camera follows Striker out into the parking lot, as he continues to drag Blitz around by the hair. Striker attempts to whip his German counterpart into a parked car, but the move is reversed with a knee to the midsection and an eye gouge. Striker stumbles backwards as Flash talks about how it was a veteran move from a veteran wrestler. Striker continues backtracking away from Blitz until he backs into the grill of a parked big rig truck.

We get a good over-the-shoulder shot of Happyhead standing in the ring, watching his opponents fighting in the backstage area. Happyhead begins to pace around, and eventually calls for a microphone. He continues pacing, as he watches Blitz grab Striker by his hair and repeatedly ram his head into the front of that large truck. Happyhead takes the microphone, and walks over facing the entrance.

Mr. Happyhead - "Striker! Blitz!! Get your asses out here now!!! Quit your bullshit fighting, and come down here to take your beatings like men... Come on!!! Philadelphia is waiting for you, and so am I. We've all got to go home to beat our dogs!!"

The crowd's boos get louder at the mention of the recent travesty. Jim Floss apologizes to all involved. Flash sounds teary eyed, as he recalls watching the video tape from the laundromat where the pit bull was beat unconscious with a baseball bat. He admits he likes his hounds more than his people. Happyhead stares at the huge monitor, as Blitz lifts Striker into a gorilla press and tosses him onto the hood of the truck.

Mr. Happyhead - "That's it... If you're not coming out here, I'm going back there. Someone's going to get beaten like a step-child."

The crowd continues booing Mr. Happyhead, as he stalks purposefully up the ramp and through the curtains. The camera goes back to showing Blitz sending huge right boots into the back of Striker's head. Striker shows resiliency as he tries to push his way back up, but he keeps getting kicked back down with his face on the windshield of this massive truck. Blitz lifts Striker back up, and rolls him onto the back of the trailer, anywhere between ten and fifteen feet above the cold asphalt.

Blitz once again helps Striker up to his feet, as he wraps his arms around Striker's stomach. He clasps his hands together, looming close to the edge of the truck. Jim Floss speculates that we're going to see a German Suplex here, but Striker back kicks Blitz in the genital area, forcing him to release his hold. Striker wraps his arms around Blitz, and quickly hits a release Stovebolt off the edge of the truck!!!!

Blitz vanishes to the other side of the big rig, as Striker turns his back to the camera and begins steadying himself. Flash Gunn admits he doesn't know what Striker has planned, but it's going to be risky. Striker poises himself, before leaping off the top of the truck, turning his body slightly in the air, and vanishing behind the trailer!!!!!

Jim Floss questions whether or not Striker was so crazy to go for a Third Strike onto the pavement. Gunn tells us that as long as we're on the topic of crazy, Happyhead is back out. He's got a friend with him too. Mr. Happyhead walks down the ramp to a chorus of boos, dragging Candi along by her hair. Happyhead rolls her into the ring, before picking up the microphone he left there.

Mr. Happyhead - "Where they Hell are you Striker? Your woman seems to be in danger, aren't you going to do the chivalrous thing and come save her? Aren't you going to come out here to stop me?!?"

Happyhead drops the microphone for a second, before picking Candi up by her hair. She tries pushing him away, but it doesn't work. Finally she pulls her right hand back, and slaps Happyhead across his face with a right hand that seems to echo over all the boos. A few cheers accompany Candi's rebuttal, but the arena knows that she can't make it on her own against this monster. Jim Floss tells her to run, but it's useless.

Happyhead backhands Candi, and she stumbles backwards into the turnbuckle. She clutches at her jaw as a man Floss refers to as quite possibly the most evil man he's ever seen in the ring casually strides over to her. Happyhead knees the woman in her stomach, and Gunn makes a comment that it's a good thing she's not pregnant.

Awkward silence overcomes our announcers, as Happyhead wraps his muscular right arm around the head of Candi, hooks her leg, and suplexes her back. Jim Floss curses Happyhead out, as Flash can only say that Candi has just been on the receiving end of the Abortion!!!!

Happyhead hops up to his feet and throws his arms high into the air victoriously. He takes a bow in front of the angered crowd, before lifting up the microphone. Happyhead walks over to Candi and stomps on her a few times for good measure, before turning to face the entrance ramp. Happyhead smiles, as he always does, because that's the face that's on his mask. He points to Candi, and then to backstage, before shrugging his shoulders.

Mr. Happyhead - "Where was he, Candi? Why didn't he come save you? You probably wanted Striker out here more than I did, and he didn't show up. He's too busy fighting back there to realize he has a match in here tonight. The semi-finals of the Heavyweight title tournament. This isn't just some bullshit match, this is important. This is my match. He's ruining this for me..."

"So Striker, where the Hell are you? Why aren't you out here? Why aren't you protecting your whore?!? She's your wife, man. She's your wife. You're just letting me have my way with her. What kind of husband are you?!?"

Happyhead bends over and grabs Candi by her hair. He drags her over towards the turnbuckle, and rests her head on the lowest rung. Happyhead once again turns to face the entrance ramp, as he once again shrugs his shoulders at Striker's lack of presence.

Mr. Happyhead - "One thing this shithole town is good for is violence, especially that loveable Philadelphia Curb Stomp. Did anyone see that in American History X?!? Where Edward Norton made that black guy bite down on the curb, and then proceeded to stomp the back of his head?!? That was cool, right? Well... I liked it. Hey, Candi... Bite the turnbuckle. Bite it!!!"

Happyhead walks over to her and begins yelling at her, throwing the microphone down in anger. Candi shakes her head as tears run down her cheeks. Happyhead grabs her by the head, and forces her face onto the turnbuckle. She turns her cheek to it as the camera focuses in on her reddened face and the rivers of tears on her face. Happyhead continues yelling at her, but Marilyn Manson's "Seizure of Power" hits the loudspeakers.

The crowd erupts in cheers, as Happyhead turns to face the entranceway. He readies himself for Striker to charge out, as Candi takes the opportunity to roll out of the ring. The curtain flies open, and rather than Striker, EMT's come out and charge over to attend to Candi. Happyhead continues staring at the ramp, waiting for at least one of his opponents to show their face.

The camera flashes to backstage, and the crowd cheers wildly as we see Striker stalking towards the ringside area, pushing past personnel on his way. Happyhead turns his back to the entrance, and begins rummaging around under the ring. He pulls out three tables, and sits them on the apron of the ring. He continues searching, and he doesn't move for a second. He emerges with a shining right hand.

Jim Floss deems Happyhead a cheater, as he tells the world how apparently Happyhead has just wrapped his right hand with barbed wire. He climbs into the ring and poises that shining fist, waiting for Striker to make his entrance. Finally the curtains fly open, just as the EMTs are taking Candi back on a stretcher. Striker holds a chair in his hand, and he charges down the ramp. He pauses momentarily to look at his wife, before running down the ramp to get some vengeance.

Striker slides into the ring under the bottom rope, and hops up to his feet. Happyhead charges with a hard right hand, but it sails over Striker's head. Momentum forces Happyhead around, and Striker clocks his counterpart in the back of the head with a steel chair!! The crowd cheers as Happyhead crumples to the mat, and Striker continues ramming the cold steel into the back of the Happy One.

Striker continues sending the chair into Happyhead's back as the crowd counts along with the shots, by the time the count reaches fifteen, Striker drops the chair. He limps over towards the turnbuckles, showing signs of the impact he took when he leaped off from the top of that truck. He climbs the turnbuckle quickly, though, and manages to steady himself. Striker leaps off from the top turnbuckle, flips, and hits a moonsaulting variation of his Third Strike!!!!!

The crowd cheers as Striker stands up and throws his hands into the air. Striker begins to unfold the first of the three tables in the middle of the ring, as the crowd continues cheering. As Striker walks over to continue exacting his revenge on Happyhead, air raid sirens blast over the crowd.

Blitz waddles out from backstage, and points into the ring at Striker. The Berlin Wall jogs down the ramp and hops onto the apron. Striker charges towards him, but Blitz rams his shoulders between the second and third ropes and hits the Californian in the gut. Blitz steps into the ring and begins sending hard right hands into the face and chest of Striker before connecting with a harsh knee to the gut, and applying a gutwrench.

Blitz hoists Striker into the air in a powerbomb position, except he's resting solely on the right shoulder. Blitz takes a few steps forward in the direction of the table, before turning Striker's body and falling sideways, sending Striker through the table with what looks to be a very innovative Death Valley Driver variation!!!!

Blitz turns around and begins to unfold another table, setting it up so that it's leaning against the turnbuckle. Striker stirs a little bit in the wreckage of the previous table, as Blitz turns to him and picks him off the mat. Blitz wraps his arm around Striker's head, and begins signalling for the Full Artillery. Striker manages to hit an elbow to force Blitz out of the hold.

He goes for a clothesline, but it gets ducked. Striker's body turns with the force, and Blitz wraps his hands around his waist. Blitz quickly snaps backwards, sending Striker through the table with a German Suplex!!! He bridges to make the cover as Tom Foolery slides over to make the count. 1...2........ Shoulder up!!!!

Jim Floss remarks how much it took for Striker to kick out from that, given the recent onslaught by Blitz. An instant replay shows the impact through the table, and Striker just barely getting his right shoulder off the mat to break the count. Blitz gets up to his feet and begins to complain to the referee about what he feels is a slow count. Blitz continues to complain, as Happyhead begins moving around just behind him. Jim Floss and Flash yelp as Happyhead swings that silver fist upwards and hits a low-blow with the barbed-wire knucks!!!!!

Both Blitz and referee Tom Foolery wince as Happyhead pulls his hand away. Blitz drops to one knee, holding his balls. Happyhead pulls back and levels him across the face with the fist. Blitz reels backwards, as blood begins coming from his forehead. Happyhead lifts Blitz up, and hits him with an inverted atomic drop. Blitz once again drops to one knee, holding his balls. Happyhead winds up and connects with a hard haymaker to the jaw of the German!!

Happyhead stands over his bleeding opponent, and sends a hard right boot right into the groin of his downed opponent. Happyhead holds his foot there as he hooks Blitz's legs and pulls back, while pushing with his foot. Blitz lets out screams and pleas for mercy, as Happyhead holds the Ball Buster.

Blitz flails his arms, reaching for the ropes, trying to find a way out of the painful manoeuvre. Striker begins to get up to his feet in the corner, as he reaches for the chair he brought to the ring with him. Happyhead notices movement, and releases his hold. Blitz begins to hold at his genitals, as Striker picks the chair up. Happyhead and Striker get up simultaneously, as Striker swings the chair in the direction of his wife's attacker.

Happyhead ducks the errant chair, and shoulders Striker in the stomach. He drives him into the corner and continues ramming him with hard shoulders into the diaphragm of his ribcage. Striker finally drops the chair, and Happyhead finally relents his shouldering. Striker's body gets weak in the corner, and Happyhead decides to pull his legs over the ropes, and placing a chair over the genital region of his prone opponent.

Jim Floss begins to prepare everyone for America's Funniest Home Videos, mentioning the horrible shots that Tornado Nakayama took to his genitals recently. Happyhead makes sure that the chair is in the correct position, as he takes a couple steps back to get ready. Blitz charges from the opposite corner, and Happyhead drops him down with a drop toe hold at the last second, sending Blitz headfirst into the chair, and the chair into Striker's groin!!!!!!

Happyhead gets up to his feet, and walks over the final table. He unfolds its legs and sets it up in the center of the ring. He walks over towards Striker and hoists him onto the top rope. Happyhead climbs to the second rung of the turnbuckle, and stands Striker up. Happyhead wraps his arm around the head of Striker, and places his left hand at his side. In one fluid motion, Happyhead falls backwards and sends Striker through the table with a top rope Abortion!!! He quickly makes the cover! 1... 2......3!!!!!!

Winner via Pinfall: Mr Happyhead

"The Wrath" hits again, but is almost drowned out by boos, as the fans voice their displeasure over Happyhead's victory. JF shouts that Happyhead is into the final, and could be the first GWA Heavyweight Champion. Flash says he hopes not, as he doesn't want that son-of-a-bitch representing this company, and JF agrees. The camera focuses on Happyhead in the ring with his arms raised, as Corruption goes off the air…
